August 12, 2022

Press Release

11th August 2022

Reference the Covid-19 related Guidelines regarding international arrivals in India issued by the Government of India on 10th February 2022 and the list of countries which have agreement with India on mutual recognition of vaccination certificates of Nationally recognised or WHO recognised vaccines and the countries which presently do not have such an agreement with India, but they exempt Indian citizens fully vaccinated with Nationally recognised or WHO recognised vaccines. On the basis of reciprocity, the travellers from only such countries which provide quarantine-free entry to Indians will be allowed for relaxation under Certificate of completing full primary vaccination schedule of COVID-19 vaccination.

2. The above-said list of exempted countries has been revised as on 8th August 2022 and France has been included in the list. Therefore, the travellers vaccinated in France are allowed entry into India either based on full vaccination certificate or Negative RT PCR Report (in case of those who are not vaccinated). Either of these documents may be uploaded on the Air Suvidha portal as part of the Self Declaration Form prior to undertaking journey to India.
