The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India, is organising the 17th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference cum Exhibition 2024 from 25 - 27 October, 2024 at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The theme of the Conference is "Standardisation and Optimisation of Urban Transport Solutions". Urban Mobility India (UMI) is a well-established international forum to deliberate on important issues and challenges related to urban transport.

The conference and exhibition was initiated by the Ministry in 2008 to provide a platform for churning out thoughts / ideas, promoting best practices across India and in different parts of the world and carving out the way forward for improving urban mobility in the country. The 16th Urban Mobility India Conference cum Exhibition 2023 was held in New Delhi from 27th to 29th October, 2023 on the theme of "Integrated and Resilient Urban Transport". About 1,200 delegates participated from India and abroad.

The 13th edition of `INDIA CHEM’
17 - 19 October 2024

The Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Government of India in association with Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI), will be organizing the 13th edition of ‘India Chem 2024’ from 17-19 October, 2024 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai with the theme “Advantage BHARAT: Indian Chemicals and Petrochemicals paving the future”.

The Indian Chemicals and Petrochemical industry plays a vital role in growth of various key sectors of Indian economy like auto motives, constructions, electronics, health care, textiles and FMCG. This industry has seen significant growth over the past few decades. India is currently the 6th largest producer of chemicals in the world and 4th largest in Asia.
