The Council, an apex body of trade for promotion of exports of gems and jewellery, from India is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. GJEPC has always been proactive in bringing various business opportunities to its members. Besides organizing India pavilion participation at various international shows worldwide, the council also organizes various Buyers Seller Meets inviting buyers from across the world catering to all Gem & Jewellery product segments.

During October 2022, the council organised the 2nd edition of IGJS Dubai at Intercontinental Hotel held from 08th to 10th November 2022. The show provided an opportunity for our exporter members to connect with international buyers and the show received a fabulous response with 39 Indian exporters and more than 550 buyers attending from 35+ countries.

Following the success of IGJS – Dubai, the council is pleased to provide another exclusive opportunity to meet international buyers at IGJS Jaipur BSM which is scheduled from 01st to 03rd April 2023 at Jaipur Marriott Hotel.

The IGJS Jaipur BSM is an exclusive export-oriented exhibition featuring top of the line products from the gem and jewellery manufacturers from India & presenting leading wholesalers and retailers from all over the world dealing in Diamond & Gemstone Studded jewellery, Silver Jewellery, Loose Diamonds and Gemstones.

Virtual Road Show: 24th January 2023, 1500-1700 hrs (IST) The Government of India is organizing, the 1st Global Tourism Investors’ Summit, scheduled to be held from 10th to 12th April 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Invest India. The Summit seeks to position and present India as a ‘Premiere Global Investment Destination’, supported by synergetic partnership between Central/State Governments. The Summit presents an unprecedented opportunity for the global and domestic investors to discuss and evaluate investment possibilities in the Indian tourism industry. It aims to offer investors a one stop platform to explore and evaluate tangible investment opportunities, at varying levels of readiness, as well as valuable partnership opportunities to form B2B and B2G linkage. In this regard, the Ministry of Tourism is organizing a virtual roadshow to facilitate interaction between government stakeholders and the investment community. The Virtual Road Show is being organized on 24th January 2023, scheduled from 1500 – 1700 hrs (IST). You are kindly requested to join the session and participate in the interactions. "INDIA STEEL 2023 - International Exhibition and Conference on steel industry"

19-21 April 2023 at Mumbai

1. Ministry of Steel in association with FICCI is organizing "India Steel 2023", an International Exhibition and Conference on Steel Industry, during 20-22 February 2023 at Mumbai Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Mumbai. The event consists of an International Exhibition and a Conference along with a series of concurrent event such as the CEOs Forum, Reverse Buyer Seller Meet, etc.

2. The Event will feature a Reverse Buyer Meet (RBSM) where more than 250 delegates from Africa, Middle East, CIS, and Asia are being invited. B2B and B2G meetings will be conducted during the event. The objective is to facilitate the development of strategic partnerships in the Steel Sector between India and countries from these regions and to promote the export of quality Steel Products from India.

3. Bulk buyers and consumers of steel such as infrastructure developers, stakeholders from construction, Defence, Railway, shipping, capital goods, and related Associations from France are invited to participate in RBSM, the exhibition and conference.
